Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Fort Worth, Texas, Sunday, July 17, 1904, Page 12: Announcement cards have been received in this city of the marriage of Charles Verschoyle on Tuesday evening, July 12 to Miss Jennie Belle Terry of Dallas. Mr. Verschoyle lived in Fort Worth several years ago, and worked for R. G. Dunn & Co. He was popular in young society circles and well liked. Miss Terry is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Terry of Dallas.

Mrs. Jennie Velle [Belle] Verschoyle, 67, of 5315 Live Oak, died Saturday morning in San Antonio. She was a resident of Dallas since 1889 when she moved here from Celina, Collin County, where she was born. She was well known in Dallas women's activities being a charter member of the Dallas Woman's Club and a member of the Marianne Scruggs Garden Club, Dallas Pen Women and the Schubert Choral Club. She has been a member of the East Dallas Christian Church since 16 years old. Survivors are her husband, C. H. Verschoyle; three sons, L. R. Verschoyle, Dallas; Lt. W. Rowe Verschoyle of the Navy, and Lt. Hubert H. Verschoyle of the Army; four daughters, Mrs. Perry Adams, San Antonio; Mrs. Etta Mae Good, Dallas; Mrs. N. C. Welsh, Dallas; Mrs. John R. Graham, Houston, and eight grandchildren.
