Kirkpatrick, 62, of Palatine, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at Ahlgrm & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. The Rev. Bill Bryan and the Rev. Jim Young will officiate. He was born March 20, 1933, in Chicago. Interment will be private. He died Wednesday, Sept. 6 at St. Joseph Hospital, Chicago. Mr. Kirkpatrick was employed M. J. Seiwert for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #705. Survivors include his wife, Joyce N. Kirkpatrick (nee Kangas) of Palatine; his daughters, Jody Kirkpatrick of Campbell, Cal., Vicki Kirkpatrick of Philadelphia, Pa. and Tricia (Jeff) Carter of Rolling Meadows; his grandchildren Nicole and Richard; his brother Noble (Theresa) Kirkpatrick Oak Park, Il., and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Avis. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. For information (708) 358-7411.
