Veterans' hospital early Sunday morning, was forwarded by the McBratney Undertaking company to Pomeroy, Wash., Sunday evening. His widow and child accompanied the body. Interment will be in the Pomeroy cemetery.

Posted at findagrave.com: John K.(Ino) Sartain married Clara Wachter. His parents were Parmenas Andrew Sartain & Ida Joseph Sartain (Aycock). He served during WW II as a guard in the Philipines. He became ill with an infection of the stomach, but remained in service until after the armistice. He never fully recovered. He died in the the veterans hospital in Boise.
