(1915 - 1918)
Posted at findagrave.com: Son of Art and Louise Rueber. Died in a tragic accident - run over by a load of lumber. Had one brother John. Outlook Banker's Son Run Over and Killed. A most unfortunate accident occurred at Outlook on Tuesday this week, shortly after the noon hour, when William, the four-year-old son of Banker and Mrs. A. Reuber, slipped from a wagon loaded with lumber and the wheel passed over his arm and head, crushing out the little life. The little fellow, who was always full of play, had his wagon with him and was playing about the wagon when he decided to climb aboard. He climbed onto the front wheel, and it seems that while he was in the act of doing this, the horses started up at a walk and the little fellow slipped and fell, the back wheel passing over his body. The wagon was standing in the back yard of the Burns residence and was loaded with lumber which O.B. Snuggins was to haul to his farm in Canada. Funeral services and interment took place at Outlook. The Producers News, Plentywood, Montana, 18 Oct 1918.
