Obituary: Ruby Baker Hays, 85, of McKee, passed away at Telford Terrace on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.Ruby was born in Berea, Kentucky to the late Matt and Laura Creekmore Baker. She was a homemaker and member of the McKee Reform Church. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Bruce Hays and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Donna Hays-Albaugh of Richmond and Rob Hays of Lexington, one sister Gladys Parker, two sisters-in-law Lois Baker and Elaine Hays, two grandchildren Amy (Jordan) Dalrymple and Robert Lee Albaugh. Ruby is expecting her first great grandson next week. Funeral services will be 7:30 pm Friday May 22, 2015 at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea with Rev. Carroll DeForrest officiating. Burial at Pilot Knob Cemetery will be private. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:30 until time of service at 7:30 pm.
