Dayton Daily News, Dayton, Ohio, Friday, March 9, 2007: Hays-Petrey, Zada, age 82, of Centerville, passed away on March 7, 2007. A member of the Spaulding Road Church of God. Preceded in death by Elbert Hays, husband of 48 years, June 18, 1992. Diana Lynn, only daughter, December 22, 1949. James C. Petrey, second husband, February 1, 2003. Parents, John and Rhoda Langdon Seals. Half brothers; Vernon Carmack, Chesley Seals, George Seals, Levi Seals. Half Sisters; Lou Randy Hornsby, Edith Seals. Brother, Osborn Seals. Survived by brother, Raymond Seals, Sisters; Marietta Powers, Flossie Berger. Fifteen Nieces, Sixteen Nephews, located in various states. Three special great-nieces and nephew; Pam Williams, Tony Seals & Carmen Dalton. Six great-great nieces and nephews; Vanessa Parsons, Nicholas Williams, Jessica Begoon, Cassie Pfieffer, Shelly Dalton, Stevie Dalton. One great-great-great nephew, Tristan Williams-Parsons. One great-great- great nieces, Emma Parsons. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spaulding Road Church of God, 1658 Spaulding Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Pastor Larry Thomas, Brother Floyd Carpenter and Rev. Charlie Pennington officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service at the church. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery, W. Carrollton. Arrangements in care of Swart Funeral Home, W. Carrollton.
