Obituary from funeral home web site: Gregory K. Hays was born April 4, 1962 in Laurel County and departed this life Thursday, June 3, 2010 in Richmond, being 48 years of age. He was the son of the Wilma Isaacs of Gray Hawk and of the late Richard Mac Hays. In addition to his mother, Greg is also survived by his wife: Lori (Cox) Hays of McKee and by the following children: Casey Renea Hays of McKee, Clay Hays of Tyner, Kaylee Hays and Baylee Hays both of McKee. Other survivors include two step sons: Brian Cox & Travis Cox both of Estill Co and by the following brothers and sisters: Rick Hays & Mandy of McKee, Roger Hays & Brenda of Gray Hawk, Tim Hays of Gray Hawk, Scotty Hays of Corbin, Kevin Hays of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., Judy Ward & Kenneth 'Bub' of Annville and Debbie Hays of Gray Hawk; by his step father: Tom 'Wolfe' Isaacs of Gray Hawk and by a host of nieces and nephews. Greg was a member of the Blooming Grove Baptist Church. Funeral service was held 3:00 PM Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Carman Brewer and Bro. Roger Williams officiating. Burial followed in the William R. Hays Cemetery in Gray Hawk. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com.
