Harlingen---Mrs. Sybil Cullen, 21-year-old Valley resident who recently returned from California, died on the way to a hospital late last night of injuries received when the pick-up truck in which she was a passenger crashed into the rear of a truck on the Military Highway near Encantada, west of Brownsville. A. M. Massey of Harlingen driver of the pick-up received a three-inch gash in his scalp but was released from the hospital after treatment. The pick-up smashed into the rear of a large truck loaded with empty boxes driven by Miguel Perez, of Alamo, and both trucks turned over on their sides, but Perez was not injured. Tommy Cox, county highway officer stated this noon. The crash took place at 9:45 o'clock last night and the injured persons were rushed to the hospital in an ambulance from the Clay-Hall Mortuary in San Benito. Mrs. Cullen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Aycock of Sebastian and is survived by a small son, Randall, four sisters, Mrs. George Decker of San Antonio, Mrs. Kermit Fletcher, of Sebastian, Mrs. Charles Land and Mrs. Grace Bogart, both of Harlingen, and one brother, N. G. Aycock, of the U. S. Navy. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced. Arrangements are being handled by the Stotler-Burdette Mortuary in Harlingen.
