Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Tuesday Evening, November 27, 1945, Page 4, Col. 6: Mrs. R. M. Crewse Dies At Rombauer. Mrs. Rachel Malinda Crewse, 75 years of age, wife of Grant Crewse, died at the family home in Rombauer at 6 o'clock this morning. She leaves surviving her two sons, John L. Crewse of Rombauer and W. S. Crewse Albany, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Phillips of Petaluma, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Willhite of Manes, Mo.; seventeen grandchildren; two brothers, Fauis Blackwell of Leachville, Ark., and James Blackwell of Manes, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Oma McFee of Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. Sarah Rowe of Oklahoma City, Okla. The body was brought to the Phelps Funeral Home and will remain there until funeral time. Services will be held at the Rombauer Church at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with the Rev. Paul Brown as minister. Interment in Rombauer cemetery. Phelps service.
