She was born Feb. 8, 1922, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Hollie Badgwell and Mae Wines Badgwell. Along with her husband, Bob, she owned and operated the Gypsy Camp for Girls near Siloam Springs for many years, closing it in 1990. She attended Harvard Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Bob; a daughter, Claudia Baron of Vermillion, S. D.; a brother, Clint Badgwell of Odessa, Texas; a sister, Moira Shaw of Fort Worth, Texas; and three grandchildren. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
