Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, July 8, 1967, Page 35: Calvin Perry, 73, who came to Phoenix 31 years ago from Pryor, Okla., and had been in building construction here, died yesterday in St. Luke's Hospital. Mr. Perry, 1221 E. Durango, had served in World War I and was a disabled veteran. He was born in Izard County, Ark. Services will be at 12:15 p.m. Monday in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Friends may call there tomorrow. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Flora; a daughter, Mrs. Ted Whitfill of Phoenix; five sons, Nelson L., James S., and Billy, all of Phoenix; Talmadge of Fort Worth, and Roy of Fremont, Calif.; a sister out of state; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
