The Odessa American, Odessa, Texas, Sunday, January 7, 1996: Odessa---Louis Ball, 91, of Odessa passed away Jan. 4, 1996, at Seabury Nursing Home. He was born July 12, 1904, in Garrison, Mo. He moved to Odessa in 1990 from Abilene and was a retired pipefitter. He was baptized by his father, George Ball, in 1931 and was a member of Crescent Park Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his son, Wesley Louis Ball, Jan. 15, 1937. He is survived by his wife, Hattie Ball of Odessa; daughters, Joyce Ward of Hereford and Frances Cunningham of Odessa; six grandchildren, Diane, Tony, Tammy, Greg, Gigi and Marsha; and five great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his beloved companion, Puddles. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 8, 1996, in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with Mr. Paul Smith officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
