Posted at findagrave.com: Edward Earl Bale was born in Pine Bluff, but grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated with Little Rock High School as a good student, except for the typing class which he failed. Edward hated poetry and that was the next class to take once you passed the typing class. So, Edward took the typing class a second year and passed. Edward remembered the "farm gals" that came to class. The teacher and gals would get into shouting matches and start pulling each other's hair. It was a grand show. Edward E.
