She grew up in Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School in 1956. She married Maynard Clason Rosine in May 1956, He passed away April 28th, 1977. Survivors include her son, Craig D. Rosine and his wife Belinda, Topeka, Ks.; two grandsons, Trevor Rosine, Topeka; and Jamie Rosine and his wife Jessica, Carbondale; two great grandsons, Paiden and Clason Rosine, Carbondale.

She had a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 6, 1938, at Burlington, the youngest of three children of Robert Sims and Lillie Mae Baker Craig. She grew up in Burlington, and graduated from Burlington High School in 1956. She attended her fiftieth year class reunion in June of this year. She also recently went to Missouri, with her family, where they attended the Baker-Veach Family Reunion, where she enjoyed herself and loved seeing everyone. She moved to Topeka, where she lived for nine years. She found farm life too hard to resist, and moved to the Scranton community in 1969. She married Maynard Clason Rosine in May 1956. He died April 28, 1977. She also was preceded in death by a grandson, Jerrid Clason Rosine on May 20, 2000. Survivors include a son, Craig D. Rosine, Topeka; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Ollie McReynolds, Burlington; a brother, James Craig, Auburn; a sister-in-law, Fern Childers, Wheatland, Wyo.; and her longtime friend Wempe. At Charlet's request, private graveside services were held Thurs., Sept. 14, 2006, at Westlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charlet Rosine Memorial Fund, to be named later by the family, and sent in care of Carey Funeral Home, PO Box 196, Burlingame, KS 66413.
