The Daily Courier, Grants Pass, Oregon, Friday, October 2, 2009: Norman Wesley Danford, 82, of Rogue River died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives in Medford is in charge of arrangements. Danford was born Dec. 13, 1926, in Seattle. During World War II, he served in the Navy. He moved to Rogue River in 1964. Survivors include two children, Gail O'Dell of Eagle Point, and David Danford of Cottonwood, Calif.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
