The Daily Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, Okalhoma, Monday, November 13, 1995: In loving memory. Coy B. "Smokey", age 75, of OKC, died Saturday. He was a retired Chef of many years and a member of PC Baptist Church. He served in the Army in WWII in the European Theater. He is survived by his wife Vera, son Jackie Sanders & wife P.J. of Edmond, brother Foy Sanders of Jacksonville Beach, FL., sisters: Bobby McQueary and Rosemary Wicker, both of Richmond, Ind., grandchildren Avery and Noelle Sanders. We enjoyed his gift of poetry and his undying love for his family. Graveside services are 2 PM Tuesday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
