Ross E. Baymiller, former buyer and floor manager at John Bressmer Co., died at 4:45 a.m. Nov. 27, 1951 at his residence in Berry. He was 74 years old. Mr. Baymiller was born Aug. 24, 1876 near Macomb, son of William and Eliza Vance Baymiller. After spending several in New York City, he came here and became affiliated with the Bressmer store where he was an employee for 29 years. He left to take a position at Myers Brothers when the Bressmer store closed as the result of a fire. He remained with Myers Brothers until his retirement when he moved to Berry.
Mr. Baymiller was a member of and served as a deacon in the First Christian church. He belonged to St. Paul's lodge 500, A.F. & A.M.; Royal Arch Masons, chapter 1; Elmwood commandery 6, Knights Templar, and Eastern Star chapter 132.
Survivors are his wife, Daisy P.; a sister, Mrs. John Kinkade, of Macomb; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Thomas C. Smith's Sons funeral chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn cemetery.
