Posted at findagrave.com: Born April 19, 1918, in Iron Mountain, Michigan, Al passed away May 20, 2010. He was the loving husband of Tami Cohodes, his wife of 25 years. Father of Karen Gardner and Glenn Cohodes; Grandfather to Loren (Julie), Mitchell, Annie Cohodes, Abe (Megan) and Doug Gardner; and Great Grandfather of Ava Cohodes. Preceded in death by parents Louis and Bertha Cohodes, sisters Natalie Cohodes, Marcia Koretsky, and Elayne Epstein and his loving first wife of 42 years, Mildred, and infant son Kenneth. He will be greatly missed by several generations of nieces, nephews and cousins. Al loved playing golf, putting 8mm film on video, and using his Apple computer. It was a challenge daily to do the crossword puzzle in the Bee. He was a proud member of Congregation B'nai Israel.
