Seattle Daily Times, Seattle, Washington, April 5, 1964, Page 117: Floyd A. Showalter, 74, of 20 G St. S.E., Auburn, died yesterday in a nursing home. Born in Grafton, Ohio, Mr. Showalter, was a signal maintainer for the Milwaukee Road for 35 years, retiring in 1950. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Lind, Adams County; the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1741, Auburn; and Veterans of World War I, Barracks 1401, Auburn. At Mr. Showalter's request there will be no funeral services. Cremation will be by the Price Funeral Home, Auburn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.
