Evening Tribune, San Diego, California, January 28, 1984, Edition 1, 2, Page C-6: Services for Harold L. Poper, 47, of Poway, will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 4 in Grace Trinity Church. Cremation was planned, with ashes to be scattered at sea. He died Tuesday in a hospital. Mr. Poper was born in Alabama, lived in the county 30 years and was a retired Navy chief. He was a member of the Lions Club. Survivors include his wife, Donna; four daughters, Julie Bass, Vicki Lewis and Andrea Poper, all of Poway, and Laura Lupo of San Diego; three sons, Russell Lewis, Michael Poper and Brian Poper, all of Poway; a brother; a sister; his mother; and four grandchildren. The family suggested donations to the American Heart Association. L.T. Christian Funeral Home in Richmond, Va., is in charge.
