Lulu Belle Alton

She was a former resident of Elkton. Lulu Belle Alton was born Aug. 22, 1878 at Linden, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Alton. She was married to Elmer Enloe June 28, 1905, at Cobb. After their marriage they lived in River Falls until moving to Elkhorn in 1938. Following his death in 1948, she moved back to River Falls.
She is survived by four sons, Harold, of Oshkosh, Harry and Dean, of Elkhorn, and Royal, of Fort Worth, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Shella and Wilda May Enloe, River Falls; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Lida Fox, Madison; Mayce and Madge Alton, Seattle, and Mrs. Vern Kern, Hollywood, Calif.; and four brothers, Charles Alton, Peona, Colo.; Bert Alton, Livingston, Cyril Alton, River Falls, and Roy Alton, Oakland, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Davis Funeral Home in River Falls. Friends may call at the Rholeder-Frederickson Funeral Home in Elkhorn from 1:30 p.m. Monday until the time of the graveside service at hazel Ridge Cemetery, Elkhorn. The Rev. Dean Hancock, Elkhorn Methodist Church, will officiate at the graveside services.
