Posted at findagrave.com: resident of U.S, National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldier, Leavenworth Kansas --admitted 1901 at age of 64--at time of admission was described as 6 ft. tall, light complexion, blue eyes, gray hair--farmer--Protestant--widower--resided in Arcola, Illinois after discharge from service--next of kin, Mrs Ada Jones of Arcola, daughter. Admitted Aug 16, 1901 by Major William Harnes, Manager and discharged June 6th 1903 by own request--readmitted Nov 2 1904 and died May 16th 1905 of epilepsy.
Enlisted Sept 22 1864, Jeffersonville, Indiana as a private Co. H 58 Ind. Infantry. Discharged June 21 1865 Camp Chau. Ohio ..close of the war.
