Obituary from The Billings Gazette, Billings, Montana, Friday, May 13, 1960, Page 10: Stroke is Fatal to Local Man. Glen B. Spicker, 50, of 37 Washington St., died at 12:30 p..m. Thursday, shortly after being admitted following a stroke. He was a heavy-duty equipment mechanic, employed by the Hi-Ball Construction Co. Mr. Spicker was born Dec. 7, 1909, at Glendive, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Spicker. He married Helen Burkholder in Billings on March 12, 1949. He had spent most of his life in Montana and was employed with various construction companies. He had worked out of Billings the last 10 years. He served in a Navy construction battalion of the Seabees in World War II. Mr. Spicker is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. Anna Spicker of Hoyt Lakes, Minn.; two brothers, Robert Spicker of Eldridge, Calif., and Fay Spicker of Polson, and a sister, Mrs. William Johnston of Hoyt Lakes. The body is at the Settergren Funeral Home.
