Willard Samuel Aldrich

Iowa Falls Hardin County Citizen, Iowa Falls, Iowa, Thursday, November 6, 1930, Page 7, Cols. 2 & 3: W. S. Aldrich, a resident of Hampton for thirty-one years, died at his home. He had been in failing health for some time and paralysis is given as the direct cause of his death. William Samuel Aldrich was born June 26, 1846, in Cattaraugus, New York and moved with his parents to Illinois when he was about eight years of age. He was united in marriage to Miss Margaret Manning at Yorkville, Illinois in 1866 and they continued to make their home there. On June 9, 1880, he was united in marriage a second time at Yorkville, Illinois, to Miss Harriet Klineberg and shortly afterward the couple moved to Webster City, Iowa, where they resided for twelve years. They moved to Hampton in May, 1899.
