Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Mr. Castle was born in Prescott, Iowa*, and lived in this area for 25 years before moving to Paola in 1976. He was a cement finisher for the J.E. Dunn Construction Co., retiring in 1976. He was a member of Local 518 of the Cement Masons Union. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paola. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Opal Lee Castle of the home; two stepsons, Carl Calvird Kincaid, Paola, and Jerry Lee Kincaid, Sterling, Alaska; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grand- children; and a great-great-granddaughter.
