Clason, 65, former Missouri department commander of the American Legion died Monday after suffering a heart attack. Dr. Clason, who served the Navy in World War I, was elected commander of the Missouri Legion in 1941. He had served for 15 years as vice chairman of the Legion's foreign relations committee. Survivors include his widow, and a son, Dwight, of Clinton.
