James Franklin Jennings

Frank Jennings, 73, a resident of Nampa for many years who died in a Portland, Ore. hospital Friday following a short illness, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene. Officiating will be the Rev. Arnold Franklin Allee of Portland and the Rev. Harold Keimel, pastor of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be in the Building of Reverance at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Alsip Chapel in Nampa. He was born Aug. 16, 1892, at Green Forest, Ark., and was reared there. He moved to Jerome in 1919 following his marriage to Mable M. Stanhope. They farmed there for a number of years. He had made his home at Portland since October 1965. He was a member of the North Nampa Church of the Nazarene, and a member of War Eagle Barracks No. 459, Veterans of World War I of Nampa. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Clifton A Jennings of San Diego, Calif., Gene F. of Boise, Roy C. of Portland, Marvin S. Jennings of Nampa; two daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Spencer of Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. Wannela Miller of Mountain Home; two brothers, Clarence Jennings of Steelville, Mo., and Cleo Jennings of Jerome; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
