Janesville Gazette, Janesville, Wisconsin, Monday, April 27, 1981, Page 4, Col. 2: Darien---Albert Clason, 83, of 131 N. Wisconsin, died Sunday in Lakeland Hospital, Elkhorn, after a long illness. Born April 8, 1898, in Richland County, he married Garnet Stokes [Stoken] on Oct. 19, 1918, in Rockford. She died in 1962. He married Lura Ella Posey on June 17, 1967. She died June 24, 1977. Clason was a retired employee of the Admiral Corp. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of South Beloit, Ill. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Harvey of Darien, Mrs. Avis Booth of Sarasota, Fla., and Mrs. Lois Simmons of Polleson, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and three great-grand children. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Betzer Funeral Home, with burial in Darien Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
