Individual Details
Thomas Allan Fraser
(21 Oct 1864 - 5 Feb 1957)
Corona has been Mr. Fraser's home ever since 1893. He was married in 1906 [1907] to Miss Florence Mabel (Belle) Clayson, of Corona, who is a sister of Walter Clayson, local attorney. For many years Mr. Fraser was an electrical contractor here, retiring from business in 1952.
When asked by the daily Independent how he felt on his ninetieth birthday, he said he felt "just fine' and demonstrated his limberness and strength by doing a nimble---knee-bend. The photograph shows him at that time.
Survivors---In addition to his sister Catherine, he is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mr. Charlotte Carroll of Corona; and Mrs. Florence Stark of Grass Valley; and four grandchildren, Dorothy, Doris and Kenneth Carroll, all of Corona and Thomas Stark, attending college nearby, who has been staying with his grandparents in Corona.
Private funeral services will be conducted at the Bell-Thomas Mortuary Chapel Friday, by the Rev. Stanley W. Graf, pastor of the First Congregational Church. Interment will follow at Sunnyslope Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary tomorrow afternoon and evening.
