Eastside Journal, Bellevue, Washington, April 21, 2000: Deceased Name: K. Stewart Ross, of Bellevue died April 16, 2000, at his home. He was 76. Mr. Ross was born March 19, 1924, in Salem, Ore. He served as a seaman first class in the Navy during World War II from 1942 to 1945 in North Africa and the Pacific. He married Dorothy Clason Ross, Jan. 21, 1945, in Oregon. She died Dec. 7, 1992. Mr. Ross was a salesman for Champion Spark Plugs of Toledo, Ohio, for 30 years and was regional sales manager for Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii until 1980. Then he was a salesman for Mar-Lac Distributing Co. in Seattle for seven years until his retirement in 1988. His daughter, Linda Ross, died in 1985 and daughter Cathleen J. Ross died in 1957. Survivors include his daughters, Laura Ross of Kirkland and Janet Kessell of Olympia; and brother John C. Ross of Hemit, Calif. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at Green's Kirkland Funeral Home Chapel. Remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association, 414 Woodland Park Ave. N., Seattle, WA 98103. Bleitz of Bellevue is in charge of arrangements.
