The Florida Times-Union, Jacksonville, Florida, May 2, 2006: Webster, Lorene C. Webster, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2006 after a long illness. She is survived by her son, Dr. Kyle Webster and wife, Marian; daughter, Nancy Wilson; grandchildren, Heather Wilson, Jason Webster, Jessica Maguire and husband, Harry and a great grandson, Forest Maguire. Lorene was preceded in death by two husbands, Pvt. Elmer Fine and Howard (Dick) Webster, along with her parents, Forrest and Horace Baker. She will be remembered for her devotion to her Family and Church. She was active in various social organizations including Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Gloxinia Garden Club and the Home Extension Club of Jacksonville. She was an active member of Main Street Baptist Church for 35 years and Parkwood Baptist Church for 28 years. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. with Rev. Larry R. Weaver In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in Mrs. Webster's name to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607-1460.
