Big Spring, July 20 (RNS)---George Adrian McGann, 63, resident and businessman here for the past 20 years, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday in a Dallas hospital after a short illness. He became ill last April and entered the hospital July 2. A veteran of World War I, he was born in Findlay, Ohio, Oct. 10, 1893. He had been employed by the Republic Supply Co. for 37 years and had been manager of the Big Spring store for 20 years, moving here from Wichita Falls. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home. At 9 a.m. Monday Requiem Mass will be read at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. William Moore officiating. Burial will be in City Cemetery. He is survived by his wife; a son, G. A. Jr., of Andrews, two brothers, Charles and Robert, both of Electra; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Long of Vernon, Miss Peggy McGann, Mrs. W. D. Cunningham and Mrs. James P. Donovan, all of Dallas.
