Born Eagle Corners, Wisconsin, age 30 and 10 months, occupation was harness maker, he had blue eyes, light brown hair, was 5' 3 1/2 " tall. He was a trumpeter with 4th Cavalry, L Company. He died Oct 12, 1903 at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri of typhoid fever.
