From U. S. Army Register of Enlistments, 1798-1914: Burton S. Rosemeyer, enlisted July 28, 1902 at Travers City, Michigan. Born Eagle Corners, Wisconsin, age 30 and 10 months, occupation was harness maker, he had blue eyes, light brown hair, was 5' 3 1/2 " tall. He was a trumpeter with 4th Cavalry, L Company. He died Oct 12, 1903 at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri of typhoid fever.
