Gridley---Funeral services for Harry Shrimplin, who died last Thursday [October 21] in Newman Memorial County Hospital in Emporia, were held Sunday afternoon in the Christian Church. They were conducted by the Rev. Lynn Van Buren. Graveside services in the Graceland Cemetery in Burlington were conducted by the Gridley Masonic Lodge, A.F. and A. M. Mr. Shrimplin, who had lived since 1937 on a farm four miles south of Gridley, died of injuries suffered in an Oct. 16th automobile accident. He is survived by his wife, the former Elsie Clason, and four brothers, Nobel, of Englewood Calif.; Roy of Culver City, Calif.; Calvin, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Earl of Anchorage, Alaska.

They were here on the account of the death of their brother, Harry Shrimplin, who was killed in a car wreck south of Burlington a few miles from his home.
