From the San Diego Union, August 26, 1953, page A5: Charles R. Leach Funeral Services Planned Today. Funeral Services for Charles R. Leach, 37, a native of San Diego and a salesman for a local baking company will be conducted at 2 this afternoon in Benbough Downtown Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Leach who lived at 2424 Washington St., Linda Vista, died Monday. He was employed by the Weber Baking Co., and formerly worked 15 years for the Union Ice Co. Survivors are his widow, Betty, and two daughters, Linda and nancy, all of the home; and four sisters, Mrs. Harriett Pohl, Mrs. Lottie Pohl, Mrs. Beatrice Rausis and Mrs. Mae Tattrie, all of San Diego.
