In December, 1940 he joined the Army Air Corps. While stationed in La Junta CO. he met and married Norma Woolfe. After moving to Lubbock in 1947 he began building homes and his business is still successful today. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma; son Ricky, and son-in-law, Bob Hornak.
