Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, Waterloo, Iowa, Wednesday, September 14, 2005: Cedar Falls--- Kenneth A. Budke Sr., 83, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Sartori Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 22, 1921, in Waterloo. He married Norma M. Kruse on Jan. 24, 1943, in Waterloo. She died Sept. 24, 1997. Mr. Kruse was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a Realtor in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area, retiring in 1987.
Survivors include: a son, Kenneth II (Pat) of Waterloo; two daughters, Kim (Steve) Coon of Mounds, Okla., and Chris Blau of Shell Rock; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: a brother, Leo. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, with inurnment in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. There will be no visitation. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: may be directed to the family.
