The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tennessee, April 27, 1995, Page: A14: ISOLA - James Thomas Aycock, 82, retired sergeant from the Department of Corrections, died Tuesday of cancer at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Caile United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Caile Cemetery. Card Funeral Home of Indianola has charge. Mr. Aycock, the husband of Agnes Hebert Aycock, also leaves a daughter, Mary Aycock Russell of Louisville, Ky.; two sons, Norman Aycock of Inverness and Joseph Aycock of Isola; two sisters, Ada Mae Herring and Tommie Logan, both of Isola, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Caile United Methodist Church.
