Biddle, age 98, a resident of the Buehler Home for the past 14 years, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, at 9:55 p.m. at the home. Mrs. Biddle was born Jan. 22, 1907, in Omaha, Ill., the daughter of Harve and Emma Holleman Kinsall. She married Walter F. Biddle on May 5, 1934, in Galesburg, Ill. Walter died March 23, 1988. Surviving are four nieces, Jean (Thomas) Bradley of Peoria, Jo Anne Prunty of East Peoria, Marjorie Kind of Wheeler, Ore., and Karen Edgar of Charleston, Ill.; and a cousin, Judith Hartwell of Mount Vernon, Ill. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Biddle worked for many years at Hiram Walker Distillery in the clerical department. She was a member of the former Arcadia Avenue Presbyterian Church and was a member of the First Federated Church. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Swan Lake Cemetery. The Rev. David Allin will officiate. There will be a private visitation. Arrangements are by Cumerford-Endsley-Diggle Funeral Home, 428 W. McClure. Memorials may be made to Buehler Home.
