Harold L. Lake, Jr., 74, of Flintville, died Sunday (Sept. 14, 2008) at his residence. Mr. Lake was a native of Custer, S.D., son of the late Harold L. and Rose E. Herbert Lake. He was an underground miner, an Army veteran and of the Protestant faith. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Lake of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Brenda George of Flintville; step-daughter, Bambi Harris of Montrose, Colo.; a step-son, Jeff Harris of Bremerton, Wash.; two brothers, Winston Lake of Rapid City, S.D., and David Trimble of Illinois; four grandchildren, Hunter Bray, Rachel Bray, Garrett Bray and Matthew George; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday in Shady Grove Cemetery with David Trimble officiating. Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
