The Quincy Daily Herald, Saturday, December 18, 1920, Page 4: Jacob S. Corbin Died This Morning. Jacob S. Corbin, 919 North Eighth street, died this morning at 4:15 o'clock at his home, at the age of 76. He was born January 19, 1844. For many years he has been a resident of Quincy and was a mechanic by occupation. He was employed at the Towne and Williams garage now known as the Gem City Transfer company for a long time. He retired some years ago. He leaves besides his wife, two sons, Edward at home and Bert, who lives at St. Joseph, Mo. the body will be sent to Ludlow, Mo., where burial will take place.
