Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, American Legion Hall, Marengo, where there will be full military rites. Inurnment: Marengo Cemetery. The body was cremated. Hoover Valentine Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Hazel; two sons, John and Joe, both of Marengo; a brother, Edward of Marengo; and three sisters, Helen Thorman of Marengo, Iris Cooney of San Diego and Joyce Unglenk of West Amana.
