Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Marquisville United Methodist Church in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter, Iowa. Harold was born in Creston and lived in Des Moines for 48 years. He retired after 26 years at the US Postal Service. Harold is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rachel, his children, Randy (Hope) Freeman of Clive, RaeJean Freeman of Des Moines, and Rhonda Baker of Colorado; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his brother, Gail Freeman of Marshalltown. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm Wednesday at Iles Funeral Homes-Grandview Park Chapel.
