Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, Arkansas, Tuesday, September 4, 1984, Page 7, Col. 3: Russell Robert Tillman, aged 62, of Benton died Monday. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Aluminum Company of America, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the DAV and the Church of Christ. Survivors are his wife, Hazel Drennan Tillman; three daughters, Carolene Rowland of Benton, Loretta Jackson and Kathy Taylor, both of Haskell; two brothers, John and Edward Tillman, both of Benton; two sisters, Lorene Rogers and Jean Tillman, both of Benton, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery*.
