Posted at Legacy.com: Kenneth David Kirkpatrick, age 78, of Little Rock, passed away in Heber Springs Saturday, May 8, 2004. Born January 10, 1926, he was the son of Oscar and Eva Kirkpatrick. Mr. Kirkpatrick was an Army Veteran of WWII, and was of the Assembly of God faith. A sports fan, he especially liked fishing and horseracing. He loved and enjoyed his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Warren Kirkpatrick and Doc Kirkpatrick, and two sisters, Lucille Herndon and Artha Ople Brown, he is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Ruby Clarkson Kirkpatrick of Heber Springs; a son, Larry Kirkpatrick; a brother, Alfred Kirkpatrick; a sister, Mildred Kirkpatrick; four stepchildren: Patsy Gatlin, Clarence West, Bonnie Adams, and Carl West; ten grandchildren: Bobby Belonie, Monte West, Carla Strickland, Marc Edward Villines, Marty West, Tonya Richardson, Marcus West, Carl West, Jr., Mitchell West, and Dylan Adams; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2004, in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Highway 5 North, Little Rock, 501-455-1067, with Reverend Jeane Zulpo officiating.
