Posted at findagrave.com: Dana Lynne Spellman was born in Salina on Aug. 31, 1962. After her mother's early death, she lived with a great aunt, Edith Ohman, in Junction City before moving to Topeka in 1978. She graduated from Seaman High School (Topeka) in May 1981, where she was a member of the Spot Lighters Club. A member of Rolling Hills Christian Church, she sang in the youth choir and played on the volleyball team. She died suddenly in Topeka, Kansas, on June 2, 1981, due to a congenital heart defect.
