Sometime after 1930 she married Henry Clarence Gallup. She died in Madera Co., California, January 19, 1947. She was buried near her first husband William Rogers Kirkpatrick under the name Hattie Kirkpatrick.

Madera Tribune, Madera, California, January 20, 1947, Front Page, Col. 3: Hattie Gallup Passes Away. Mrs. Hattie Gallup, 74, passed away early this morning in a local hospital following a lingering illness. A native of Alabama, she had been a member of this community for the past three years. Her only survivor is her husband, Henry Gallup, who has been seriously ill in a local hospital for the past week. Funeral services will be announced later by the Jay Mortuary.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Hattie Gallup, who passed away early Monday morning, have been set for 10 a.m. tomorrow morning in the Jay chapel. Rev. J. Stanley Bellinger of the Methodist church will officiate. Her remains will be shipped to Meford, Oregon, for interment. She is survived by her husband, Henry Gallup of Madera; two brothers, Leonard and Virgil Callahan of Alabama; one nephew, John Gallup of Madera; and two nieces. Mrs. George O’Henry of Coos Bay, Oregon, and Miss Carrie Gallup of Marysville.
