Henry Allen, a hooker for the Clover Valley Lumber company was fatally injured May 20 at Camp 14 north of Beckwourth when the top log on a truck rolled off and struck him. Allen, the victim in the Clover Valley accident was only 20 years of age. His body was sent to Berry Creek Tuesday for burial. His mother Adeline Graham and other relatives reside there.
Died---In Clover Valley Lumber Camp No. 14, May 20, 1943, Charles Henry Allen of Berry Creek, son of Kenneth Allen of Brush Creek, aged 20 years. The body was prepared by the Rees Mortuary and forwarded to Berry Creek for interment.
