Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri,Thursday, January 28, 1926: Aged Hamtown Resident Died Late Yesterday. Van I. Ham, 60, and for 40 years a resident of the Hamtown community, died last night. Mr. Ham had been a resident of Butler County practically all his life. Funeral service will be held tomorrow afternoon and the body placed in the Hamtown cemetery, J. J. Frank reports.
