Graveside services for Mrs. Mae (Masie) Kirkpatrick, 81, of Levelland will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 26, 2003 in The Fairmont Cemetery at Raton, N.M. under the direction of Alderete-Pomeroy Funeral Home in Raton. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003 at the Alderete-Pomeroy Funeral Home. There will be a visitation at the George C. Price Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas from 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003. Local Services are under the direction of George C. Price Funeral Directors. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born on Feb. 9, 1922 in Raton, N.M. She moved to Levelland in 1969. She was a retired teacher, having taught in Folsom, N.M., Aztec, N.M., Floydada, Texas, Dumas, Texas, Raton, N.M., Sundown, Texas and Whiteface, Texas. She was a member of the Texas State Teachers Association, the Texas Retired Teachers Association and the National Retired Teachers Association. She enjoyed her water aerobics class and all the sports at South Plains College. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Sieling of Coppell, Texas; her two sons, Mike Kirkpatrick of Lubbock and Steve Kirkpatrick of Andrews; and her brother, Jim Ward of Albuquerque, N.M.; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Lodge in 1996 and a brother, Lawrence Ward in 1946.
